Quincy Jones has been known for his magnificent arrangements and compositions. In his entire musical career, he has produced albums from different well known artists like Michael Jackson, James Ingram, Frank Sinatra and more.

This rare concert starts off with an interview with Quincy in the studio discussing his music. The live concert was recorded by NHK Television at the Budokan Hall in Tokyo Japan on July 9th, 1981. Quincy played along with guitarist Carlos Rios, drummer John Robinson, keyboardist Greg Phillinganes, bassist Louis Johnson, harmonicist Toots Thielemans and Patti Austin singing Razzmatazz, James Ingram singing Just Once and both singing on Ai No Corrida. The singers and band are all accompanied by the 50 piece Tokyo String Symphony Orchestra with Quincy Jones as the conductor.

If you are a big fan of Quincy Jones you will surely love to watch this concert. It will bring you back to the 80's. An hour of good swinging jazz melodies from the maestro himself... Mr. Quincy Jones. (00:55:55)
