DYLAN'S FOLK: THE PURE, THE BAD AND THE HOLY (2007)
BBC Four's Arena documentary about the American folk revival, the milieu from which the nascent Bob Dylan emerged in the early 1960s and whose crucible was the Newport folk festival. In 1963 it provided the perfect platform for Dylan, under the patronage of Pete Seeger and Joan Baez, to be acknowledged as the principal voice of folk music at the age of just 22. Other stars of the time such as Joan Baez, Pete Seeger, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Peter Paul and Mary, Judy Collins, Muddy Waters and Mahalia Jackson are also featured.  (00:39:58)

TALES OF ROCK 'N' ROLL: HIGHWAY 61 REVISITED (1993)
Classic Arena documentary exploring the significance of the road that runs south from Bob Dylan's hometown of Hibbing, Minnesota and inspired one of his greatest songs and albums. (00:56:27)

BBC ARENA: BOB DYLAN`S LEGENDS (2005)
Three short films about characters who inspired Bob Dylan songs: Woody Guthrie, Ruben "Hurricane" Carter and Lenny Bruce. (00:48:23)

DYLAN IN THE MADHOUSE (2005)
"Remarkably, Bob Dylan first visited Britain to take part in a BBC play. It was the coldest winter on record: Britain was frosty and grey. Millions of milk bottles were buried in snow drifts, Cliff Richard was number one, and there were two TV channels and three radio stations(all BBC). This was the world a 21-year-old Bob Dylan entered when he visited London for the first time in December 1962, having never left America before." (01:04:14)
