Quincy Jones presents Michael Jackson's Off The Wall, Thriller and Bad in concert in Paris AccorHotels Arena June 27, 2019. The King of Pop's three albums produced by Jones have sold more than 150 million copies. Quincy Jones appears in concert to present the three albums he created with Michael Jackson. Off The Wall, released in 1979, was the late King of Pop's first album with Jones, before they teamed up again for Thriller released in 1982. They last worked together on 1987’s Bad.
In his 70-year career, Quincy Jones arranged, composed, produced and orchestrated for the greatest American artists: Louis Armstrong, Sarah Vaughan, Ray Charles, Barbra Streisand, Dinah Washington, Stevie Wonder, Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis, Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson and many others. This Parisian live celebrates Quincy Jones' impressive career.
Present on stage, he's accompanied by several guests and a symphonic orchestra. We see all three records performed back to back by a symphony orchestra that is conducted by Jules Buckley and accompanied by an array of special guests, including Swedish singer Jonah Nilsson, American Shelea, street dancer Salif Gueye, trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf and great bassists Marcus Miller and Richard Bona.
